I was quite spontaneously booked for the civil wedding of Thea and Alex. It was so spontaneous that we had never met in person before so I was a bit more nervous than usual since I feel that trusting your photographer really makes a difference. But I shouldn’t have worried: Thea and Alex were totally laid back and enjoyed their wedding day immensly.
After their ceremony at the Weinschenke in the Hotel Hirschen in Zurich and following a short reception there we quickly did short couple’s shoot in Zurichs old town (and by short I mean we had about 5 minutes), before grabbing a cab to get to the Restaurant Turbinenhaus. It was there, at the banks of the river Limmat, that Thea and Alex celebrated with their friends and family, listened to beautiful live music by Sense of Sunday (big recommendation!) and then enjoyed their dinner.
But not before I could convince the two of them to hop on outside for another five-minute-shoot in the magical evening light. And I feel like it was definitely worth it, don’t you?
