Do you speak German?

In addition to English, I speak German, Swiss German, Polish, Italian and enough Spanish and French to carry a conversation with your international guests. German is actually my native language, I just love English and since I’m fluent I figured why not show it on my website.

How much does it cost for you to be at our wedding?

My wedding packages start at 2 hours for civil ceremonies on weekdays and weekends during off-season (November-March). That means an investment starting at CHF 890.-

Because I believe in reliving the wedding day in its entirety, my wedding packages on Saturdays start at 8 hours and CHF 3400.-

Since every wedding day is different I will gladly make a personalized quote for you covering all the costs you might happen upon so that there’s no surprise at the end.

I have special pricing available for elopements (half-day, full-day, multiple days) and for destination weddings in Europe or anywhere else in the world. Just shoot me a message and I’ll get all the info to you asap.

What does your coverage include?

When you book me, you get one to two consultations before the wedding as well as support whenever you may have a question. I do not plan your wedding for you but I’m happy to suggest changes in timeline or give you great recommendations for vendors. You will also recieve a helpful wedding guide with tipps for planning your wedding after you book.

On your wedding day, I’m there early and will photograph your wedding day from the time we agreed until you tell me to stop. If you have booked an 8-hour-package but feel like you’d like to spontaneously like me to stay a bit longer, that’s no problem at all. I have stayed for 6 more hours at one wedding so no worries there. Your day is reserved for you. Additional hours will be charged according to our contract. You will recieve approximately 50 images per hour of attendance.

When booking me, you get the safety of knowing you have a professional photographer by your side. Even if something should happen to prevent me from attending I have a big network to make sure you’re in the best hands. Read more about this here.

In addition, you’ll get a beautiful, password-protected gallery where you and your guests can download all your images in High- and Low-resolution. No hidden fees here! The gallery is online for a whole year to assure you have time to download and cherish your memories.

how far do you travel for a wedding/Elopement?

As far as you’re willing to take me!

If I can get the neccessary permits I’m happy to celebrate your wedding with you wherever it may be happening. No matter if it’s the rocky shores of Iceland, the sandy dunes of the Sahara or a small mountain chalet in the Swiss Alps.

The furthest I’ve travelled to photograph a wedding so far is Lombok, Indonesia.

how much in advance should we book you?

Generally, inquiring as soon as you’ve set a date is a good idea. My calendar tends to fill up mostly about 12 to 6 months in advance, although popular dates can be booked as far out as 2 years before the wedding.

how long does it take to get our photos?

Although I strive to get your images to you as quickly as possible, my summers can get quite busy. And since I only want to leave you with the most beautiful of memories I curate the gallery thoroughly. This means that it can take anywhere from 5-6 weeks after your wedding to get your images to you.

Will we need to feed you?

Yes, please. Not just because I am a big foodie, but also because I’m there for 10 hours on average with no breaks. This is something not often considered, but from the moment I start photographing until the moment I take the cards out of the camera I don’t get breaks other than maybe a quick run to the bathroom. So for you to get the best of me it’s neccessary I run on more than just happiness. And I appreciate if I can take a second to eat or drink something during reception as well.

As to dinner, you do not need to order the expensive menu that you’re serving your guests (although most couples opt to and I’m so thankful for that). Most venues or caterers offer a “vendor-dinner” and I’m more than happy to have that.

I only ask you to seat me somewhere where I can see what’s going on in the room. If I’m in another room or on another floor I might not be ready to jump up and capture spontaneous speeches or fun moments. You don’t have to seat me at a table with your guests (although that’s what’s most commonly done); a small table with the DJ in the corner of the room suffices.

What camera do you photograph with?

I don’t feel it’s important which brand or model someone photographs with since capturing emotions and knowing how to work light in your favor is more important. But since you’re curious:

I always carry my two Canon 5D MkIV with me on my wedding day, together with various lenses. I prefer primes to zooms although my 70-200 2.8 is a constant for ceremonies.

I also always have at least one Canon 5D MkIII with me as backup should anything happen to any of my main bodies. In both cameras, I shoot with dual cards which means that your images are as safe as it gets.

Can we do an engagement shoot beforehand?

Absolutely! If you book a package of 8 hours or more, an engagement shoot is included. Otherwise you’re free to book one at a discounted price together with your wedding coverage.

Do you also design albums?

I do and I will bring one for you to look at during our first consultation. My albums are high-end linen albums designed to last you a lifetime. They are personalizable and pricing starts at CHF 690.-

How about family pictures? Budoir? Portraits? Maternity photos? Newborn-Shoots? Can we book those with you as well?

I have specialized on weddings and couples in love so my main focus lies there. But of course I’ll also photograph other milestones in your life for you. I do not offer maternity and “classic” Newborn photos, though, but I’m happy to refer you to some colleagues should that be what you’re looking for.
