Talk about goosebumps!
So far, this has been one of the if not the most emotional ceremony I have ever witnessed. Not only did Simone from lovelywords outdo herself as a ceremony master, the bride herself stole everyone’s breath when she sang a song to her husband. A song to which she had rewritten the lyrics to fit their relationship. DOES IT GET MORE ROMANTIC THAN THAT? Well, it certainly got more emotional when the couple’s three children stepped up to the microphone and wished the happy couple the best by singing a super-cute song. I was crying behind the camera and I’m sure that lots of guests used up the tissues they had brought.
Their unforgettable ceremony at Traumgarten Thalwil was followed by a relaxed reception in the beautiful gardens before everyone continued on to eat and party at the Hotel Marina Lachen. Tanja and Stefan had organized so-called wedding-nannies who played tons of games with the kids, decorated their arms with glitter-tattoos and even sent them off on a treasure-hunt. What a cool idea!
Besides the extremely chic couple and their one-of-a-kind rings, the ceremony that touched me deeply will definitely be something I will think back to for years to come.
