Lea and Raphael’s wedding day was unforgettable. Under a blazing spring sun, on the hottest day so far that year, the couple celebrated their love in a way that was both heartfelt and joyful.

The day began with a private first look—just Lea and Raphael, away from the busy preparations. This is something I always recommend to my couples, as it gives you a moment to breathe before the start of the busy day, and often makes for a more relaxed start into your wedding day, as the first big emotions can be shared in private. And that’s what Lea and Raphael chose to do, Raphael’s expression when he saw Lea said it all - it had been the right choice to make. Lea looked stunning in her lace dress with floral applications, her happiness shining through. The connection between these two, who have already built a life together with their two children, was moving. You could feel the love in every glance and touch. We followed the first look with a few family photos with their children. Always a good idea to get that out of the way, as the little rascals can often play so vigorously later in the day that the clothes do not look like you might have intended ;)

The civil ceremony took place at the Gartensaal in Villa Boveri in Baden. The venue, already beautiful on its own, provided an elegant backdrop for their vows. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, Lea and Raphael exchanged promises in a setting that felt both intimate and special.

After the ceremony, we had drinks at Villa Boveris’s lovely grounds and the guests enjoyed the hot summer day before heading to the Stanzerei for the reception. The industrial charm of the Stanzerei was brought to life with thoughtful decorations and incredible hanging florals by badenblüht, transforming the space into a warm and inviting setting for the evening celebration. Every detail, from the decor to the lighting, reflected the couple’s style.

As the evening unfolded, the atmosphere shifted into a lively celebration filled with laughter, speeches, and dancing. Lea and Raphael’s first dance was a highlight, setting the tone for an evening full of joy and connection.

It was a privilege to document this special day, and as someone who holds Villa Boveri and the Stanzerei close to my heart, having gotten married in the Gartensaal too and having known Lea through friends, it was an extra meaningful experience.
