It’s always something very special when a fellow photographer asks you to photograph them. It’s an honor and at the same time makes me feel a little nervous. Fabio and I originally met through our common work for the newspaper. I feel like especially his sports-pictures are always super creative and I love following his progress. When he asked me for a gift certificate for a couple’s shoot for him and his girlfiend I looked forward to it from the first moment on. We met up on a beautiful spring day, hiked up LOTS of steps and had fun shooting together. With these two it was absolutely effortless - they were so in love and it made for some truly happy pictures that I hope they’ll cherish for a long time.

And just to clear that up: NO, they’re not engaged (yet) - they just wanted to have nice pictures of the two of them together. //EDIT BELOW***They joked about how everyone would start asking them again once they saw the pictures and OF COURSE we walked past a few friends of theirs on the way back to the car and them - seeing me with the cameras - asked right then and there if there was a special occasion for the pictures. So, remember: There doesn’t have to be a special occasion for a shoot. The occasion is your love for each other. Always.
