Moving day in the convent
Hardly anyone knows what it looks like behind the doors of a convent. Guests are strictly prohibited and the nuns can only be met in public rooms. Usually. Last year, the nuns of Kloster Fahr in Würenlos, Switzerland, had to move out of their cells because the rooms were being renovated. So for once even "outsiders" got to see where the nuns live and pray. Luckily, I was chosen to photograph the rooms one day before the nuns were to move back in and close the doors for good (or at least for another few decades).
